Jean-Christophe, who holds four Michelin Stars, is a household name following regular appearances on Hell’s Kitchen, Britain’s Best Chef and Loose Women, and will be mingling with guests on Thursday, November 28.
Attendees will be treated to a drinks reception from 11am and will also be able to browse stalls from specialist retailers before being served a two-course menu of butter roasted breast of Turkey with all the trimmings and a Christmas Eton mess dessert.
Afterwards, guests will be able to quiz Jean-Christophe on what it’s like to be a culinary heart-throb and gain an exclusive signing of his new book, ‘Simply Novelli’.
Jean-Christophe, dubbed as one of the nation’s favourite French chefs said: “I’ve never visited Lancashire before so I’m really looking forward to the Stanley House experience. I’m hoping to make the most of the hotel’s wonderful facilities and sample dishes in its award-winning restaurant ahead of the event.
“It’s a busy few months with the launch of my new book and so I can’t wait to relax and have a giggle with guests while raising as much as possible for Rosemere.”
Stanley House’s sales and marketing manager, Wendy Hope, commented: “This marks the first official fundraiser for our charity of the year, Rosemere Cancer Foundation and we are honoured to welcome Jean-Christophe to help us with our fundraising drive.
“The annual event is one not to be missed. It’s a fabulous opportunity for ladies to lunch with one of the world’s most famous chefs and hear some exclusive stories.”
There will also be a chance to win a host of prizes in a luxury raffle at the event, including a host of goodies from the Spa at Stanley House.
Jean-Christophe joins a list of celebrity guests who have hosted the event including star baker, Paul Hollywood and broadcast legend Anne Diamond.
