I would just like to say a massive thank you for our stay at Stanley House. Everyone made our stay absolutely amazing and with it being for a birthday I was so, so happy with the service and the letter of celebration, the upgraded room, the birthday Prosecco and dessert. It all came together for an incredible night away. The spa and treatments were second to none with beautiful views of the surrounding area. Everyone was very welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. The room you upgraded us to was beyond any hotel room we’ve stayed in before, furnished and decorated to perfection. All of the food was delicious and the breakfast was to die for with your fresh coffee and juices.

Dear management

I am writing this email to express gratitude towards all the staff at Stanley house who made our stay wonderful.

We had an issue on the way to Stanley house and ended up with a punctured tyre. We were unsure of what to do and where to get help. The receptionist mentioned that the maintenance team at the hotel may be able to have a look at it. They fitted the spare tyre for us whilst we were in the spa. This was dealt with immediately completely putting our mind at rest so we could enjoy our time.

The hotel is beautiful but honestly it is the service that made our stay so good. From the spa to the restaurant and reception.

We just thought we would pass this feedback on to yourselves, hope it’s useful.

Hiya. I have got back from my 2 day visit today and would like to let you all know how much my husband, son and myself really enjoyed our stay. I purchased my 2 night stay on Secret Escapes, which I think is a great way to find out about classy hotels. We were treated so well, every member of staff had a smile and nothing wasn’t to much trouble.

The Spa was amazing including the staff, once in there you can understand why it has been voted so highly. There is so much I want to say but the best thing to say is to experience the hotel, the rooms, staff, food and drink for yourself, you will not be disappointed. I would definitely treat myself again (and maybe my husband) to this treatment again.

We were in room 11 in the Manor House which was an amazing room had only stayed in woodlands before (which are also amazing) but loved this Manor House room!

Just a quick note to say thank you for a great weekend.

My wife and I arrived Saturday afternoon and were greeted by a friendly, polite and professional receptionist.

The room was excellent, the flowers and champagne were a very nice and unexpected surprise.

We ate in the Grill on the hill restaurant, the food and service we’re both very good, I’ve eaten in Michelin starred restaurants and the food was here just as good. Greg (?) the waiter was very friendly and looked after us very well.

Mr Fred’s was nice with a laid back atmosphere, the evening meal and breakfasts were very nice too.

All the staff we spoke to were helpful, polite and friendly and a credit to your establishment.

I used the spa and found that very relaxing with a very profession service.

We are both looking forward to visiting again soon and will not hesitate in recommending you to our friends.

We have just returned from our evening stay with you and felt like we needed to email you with our feedback.

We have had a fabulous time and the consistency of your level of service has been superb, from start to finish. From our arrival straight into our lovely clean room (room 26) then onto the spa treatment, where the therapists were very professional and made us feel special. We arrived for dinner welcomed by Laura who we have got to say is an asset to Stanley House, she is professional yet very attentive and very accommodating. I have a vegan diet and between Laura and your amazing chef myself and my partner had a wonderful three course dinner helped also by Greg who informed us which wines go with which dishes which was very informative.

Breakfast was just as good as dinner and again Laura was there and provided me with alternative dishes to accommodate my diet and a great service. We were aware there was a wedding on but felt this didn’t affect or impact on our relaxing break away.

We will be returning without doubt.
